Torqworks was founded by mechanical fitting professionals with extensive hands on experience across the energy, petrochemical and industrial sectors. Our directors have worked across onshore and offshore environments, supporting major shutdowns, turnarounds, maintenance and mechanical projects throughout the UK and internationally.
With backgrounds spanning mechanical fitting, rotating equipment, joint integrity, construction and supervision, we understand the demands of working safely and efficiently in operational and safety critical environments. Director
Gary is a qualified mechanical fitter with a strong background across onshore and offshore oil & gas, petrochemical, refining and industrial environments. His background includes major shutdowns and turnarounds, mechanical maintenance, rotating equipment, pipework, valves and joint integrity activities.
With experience as both a mechanical fitter and supervisor, including projects across the UK, Europe and the Middle East, Gary brings a strong practical understanding of site execution, safety and workface coordination. He is highly experienced in hydraulic torque and tensioning, bolting and permit-to-work systems, with a consistent focus on safe and efficient delivery.
Darran is a time served mechanical professional with over 20 years’ experience across the oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, nuclear and industrial sectors. His experience spans mechanical fitting, rotating equipment, joint integrity, shutdowns and turnarounds, construction coordination and commissioning support.
Having worked in demanding and safety-critical environments, including major power generation and nuclear projects, Darran brings strong practical knowledge together with supervisory and workface coordination experience. He takes a hands-on approach to project delivery, with a focus on safety, quality and completing work efficiently and to programme.
